Johari Harun is a politician who is currently the Bentong UMNO vice-chief, and is also the Group CEO of Gading Group. Following results of GE15, he was elected as Member of Pahang State Legislative Assembly for N36 Pelangai. He then became a member of the Pahang State Executive Council. He passed away in a plane crash in Elmina, Shah Alam on 17 August 2023.
