National Entrepreneur Group Economic Fund (TEKUN) Nasional

Tabung Ekonomi Kumpulan Usaha Niaga (TEKUN) Nasional formerly known as Yayasan TEKUN Nasional is an agency under the Ministry of Entrepreneurial and Cooperative Development. Now, TEKUN Nasional is under the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development.

Since 2008, TEKUN Nasional has undergone changes and reforms to cater to the current trends in becoming a strategic entrepreneur development partner for businesses instead of just being a financing body. Now, TEKUN Nasional is an institution that provides business opportunities as well as income generation opportunities, business capital financing and guidance and support services as well as providing a networking platform for entrepreneurs.

It is hoped that with the new directions and the rebranding exercise, TEKUN Nasional will become a more dynamic and effective executing agency in supporting the government’s intention to create a Bumiputera Commercial and Industrial Community (BCIC). Therefore, with the success of BCIC our aim to improve the prestige of the Malays and Bumiputeras in the economic fields will be achieved.
