PTPTN chairman 

Wan Saiful Wan Jan is the founding and former chief executive of the Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (www.ideas.org.my), and former Visiting Senior Fellow at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS) Singapore.

A member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party, a component party of the ruling Perikatan Nasional (PN) and a former component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalitions since March 2018 and its Strategy and Policy Bureau Deputy Chairman from March 2018 to August 2020 and its Information Chief since August 2020. He has served as Chairman of the Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN) since June 2018[1] after the resignation of Shamsul Anuar Nasarah following the collapse of the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration in May 2018 thanks to its defeat in the 2018 general election. He also served as Special Advisor to the former Minister of Education which is Maszlee Malik from May to November 2018.
