BN candidate C Sivaraj was allegedly offered the role of a senator in return for withdrawing from the contest for the Padang Serai parliamentary seat in Kedah, according to a source. This is to make way for Pakatan Harapan’s candidate Mohamad Sofee Razak, who will be facing Perikatan Nasional’s (PN) Azman Nasruddin, Pejuang’s Hamzah Abd Rahman, and independent Sreanandha Rao.
