Biography
He possesses a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from Universiti Malaya, a Masters in Economics from Tohuku University, Sendai, Japan, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Administration from the National Institute of Public Administration.
Mr. Ma. Sivanesan has an extensive experience in public finance, especially in direct and indirect tax policies. He has contributed to the development of national budgets, tax policies, and incentives for investments. He played a key role in the implementation of both the Goods & Services Tax (GST) and the Sales & Services Tax (SST).
