Biography
In April 2019, he became the Chief Executive Officer of Tenaga Nasional after serving in various industries like Oil, Shipping, Retail and Services. Prior to Tenaga Nasional, he was a Group Chief Executive Officer at Themed Attractions Resorts & Hotels Sdn. Bhd after serving as a Managing Director at Icon Offshore Berhad. Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah has held a number of senior management positions over the past 25 years. Before joining Icon Offshore, he has held positions from Marketing Credit Accountant to Vice President in his career. As Chief Executive Officer, he manages the TNB’s overall resources and operations; and communicate with the board of directors, management team, and corporate operations.
