Abu Kassim bin Mohamed was the second Chief Commissioner of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC). He was appointed to the board of directors of Prasarana on 15 February 2021.

Biography
Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed was appointed as a member of the Board on 15 February 2021.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia and Masters in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University, USA, Tan Sri Abu Kassim began his career with the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA), Malaysia as an Investigation Officer in 1984. There, he held various positions until his appointment as Deputy Director General in-charge of operations at ACA Malaysia and Chief Commissioner of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in 2007 and 2010, respectively.
Tan Sri Abu Kassim also served as Consultant and Advisor at the Centre for Governance and Integrity at University Technology of MARA and had a stint in the private sector when he was seconded to Amanah Raya Berhad, a government-linked entity, as its Chief Integrity Officer. He was also a member of the INTERPOL Group of Experts on Corruption (IGEC), an Executive Committee for the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (IAACA), and Committee member for the Sheikh Tamim Al Thani Anti-Corruption Excellence Award (ACE).
In the field of academics, he was a member of the Board of Governors and a member of the faculty at the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA), Adjunct Professor at the Education and Social Science Faculty of University Industry Selangor, and member of the Board of Directors for the Malaysian Institute of Integrity.
His last post during retirement was as the Director General at the National Centre for Governance, Integrity and Anti-Corruption. Tan Sri Abu Kassim is presently the Founder and Chairman for Koperasi Kebuniti Selangor Berhad, and the founder and Chairperson for the Perdana International Anti-Corruption Champion Foundation (PIACCF).
